Why I'm running

Leadership is driven by integrity, accountability, and a desire to serve. My grandfather, Phil, was a huge influence in my life and taught me the value of giving back to our community through hard work, financial responsibility, and helping those most in need.

The customer comes first in business – and this principle should also apply to elected office. Elected officials have a responsibility to deliver real results and value for the services that our government provides. As your MLA and the Minister of Justice, I have placed victims’ rights first, addressed root causes of crime, and put more police on our streets. In our neighbourhoods, I have secured funding for facilities that benefit us all - including the Trico Centre, upgrades to community curling and hockey arenas, and a new indoor tennis facility which is scheduled to open in 2016. I will continue to be a strong voice for Calgary-Acadia and I hope to earn your vote.
