Jonathon Himann is excited to represent the Alberta Party in the riding of Calgary-Bow. A true Calgarian, he was born at the Holy Cross Hospital and has been living on the west end of the city his whole life. Jonathon, a teacher, has experienced many different educational systems at work both in Alberta and overseas during his professional career. These combined experiences have shown him the struggles teachers, students and support workers experience on a daily basis.

Jonathon is running because he feels that the quality of our education and health care systems shouldn’t fluctuate based solely upon the price of a barrel of oil. He feels that his nieces and nephews deserve to live in a province in which their education is delivered by teachers who have the support they need to do a great job; that his parents shouldn’t have to wait an extra few months for health care because our province's system can't have stable, reliable, funding for their services; that public workers in this province, wherever they are, need improved support in order to do their jobs to the best of their ability.

Himann is ready to listen to the concerns of his constituents and deliver them with representation in the Legislature. His goal is to provide, through the Alberta Party, a fiscally responsible and socially moderate plan for our province's future.
