Shelley is presently enjoying a career as an Entrepreneur in Business Development with companies in the United States and Canada. Shelley has spent the past 20 years in Business Development, Training and strategically building strong organizations.

Shelley has volunteered as a Board member for organizations involved in: health, sports, education, community, board governance and professional development and social services. She has been a member of the Vancouver Island Regional Health Board and Board member for the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children in Victoria, BC. Shelley has a very strong commitment to give back to her community.

Shelley has been a constant achiever in life due to her strong desire to make our world a better place. She has experience working in the health and social service field as well as holding public office as a member of Provincial Parliament and Minister of the Crown in Ministries including Revenue, Health and Education. Shelley is definitely a change agent with the vision, motivation and knowledge to take an idea from conceptualization to fruition.

Although, Shelley will share the many blessings and opportunities she has experienced she can also share the many trials and tribulations that gave her strength and added to her commitment to create change.

Shelley’s greatest accomplishment is the relationship she shares with her husband Kelly of 32 years, her beautiful children Kurtis and Erika as well as their spouses and 4 wonderful grandchildren.

Shelley believes Calgary Currie needs a strong vigorous voice to hold the government accountable. Elect Wark-Martyn for a strong accountable voice.
