Vic Goosen is a certified journeyman locksmith, who has been working as such since 2007, and lives in the community of Forest Lawn. Having been raised on a small farm outside of Armstrong, BC, he moved to Edmonton with his family to pursue the opportunities presented by the Alberta Advantage.

Finding success has led Vic to appreciate Alberta as a place of prosperity and inspired him to seek out ways other citizens can share in the prosperity of the province. While volunteering for the Food for a Day, a homeless outreach program in Edmonton, Victor found his passion for helping and connecting to others. Since moving to Calgary he has volunteered for numerous organizations including the Family And Schools Together program (FAST) as well as serving as the parent council president for two years at his children’s school.

Vic believes in social responsibility and, as such, believes that every Albertan should be able or enabled to succeed in this province. As a father of eight, he wants to see policies that enable his children and future generations to use the Alberta Advantage for decades to come.

Vic is running to be the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Calgary-Fort because he believes in the future of Alberta, the ability of all Albertans to build a strong province working together and to ensure the prosperity of Alberta remains strong for the next generation.
