Manmeet Bhullar is well-known for getting results. First elected in 2008 he currently serves as Minister of Infrastructure.
He has secured a new Northeast high school, helped get the Genesis Centre built and delivered countless projects, including the new Applewood Playground.
As a Minister, he used data to build better systems for children, fought to change unfair cell phone rules and passed laws to protect consumers.
Born in Calgary, he was raised in Whitehorn, lived in Taradale and now resides in Monterey Park. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Windsor.
Why I'm running
I love Alberta and the fact that our opportunities are limited only by our imagination and our ambition. This is a land of opportunity filled with abundant natural beauty, a high standard of living and a can-do attitude, qualities I see across Northeast Calgary.
From the new Parent Link Centre to the new Applewood Playground, I am proud of the work we have done together. A new high school is under construction and more elementary schools are on the way. We opened Ted Harrison School in Taradale, helped residents in Coral Springs, and got new rink boards for Abbeydale and facility upgrades in Chateau Estates and Monterey Park.
The results we have achieved together have been tremendous and I hope to continue to serve you and your family to help resolve local issues and build an even better, more prosperous Northeast Calgary.
