Why I'm running
That I am able to make a difference as your MLA is what drives me to seek the support of Calgary Hawkwood again.
During my first term as an MLA, I advocated for your interests by listening to you and raising your concerns with the government. I represented community needs and leveraged tax dollars to build infrastructure on over 80 community projects with close to $1 million matching grants. I fostered the first Sino-Canadian Oil & Gas Symposium, spearheaded the Aging-in-Place: A Family Affair Event. As well, I sponsored Motion 512 & Bill 211 to support International Language Education, which will give our children the added competitiveness they need in a global economy.
But there is more I want to do, including youth employment initiatives and health care reform for the Crowfoot family practice.
