I grew up in a small town in Southwestern Ontario and graduated university with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I then moved to Alberta in 1982 and started my career in Information Systems with a large Canadian energy company. After 10 years I became an independent consultant and later started my own Systems Integration Company. Throughout my career I have been involved in several successful businesses both inside and outside the software industry.
My family and I have been residents of the Calgary-Hays community for 24 years. Over these many years we have seen tremendous growth and change, not only in our community but also in our own family. Our sons attended both elementary and middle schools in McKenzie Lake. Like many of you my wife Angie and I volunteered in the schools, in our neighbourhood, and in our son’s sport activities, especially hockey. We have met so many wonderful people and families whom we now call friends. You just may be one of them!
This community has given so much to my family and I. We have decided that now is the time to give back. I looked in the mirror and decided I can no longer be a spectator to government fiscal mismanagement and that is why I am asking for your support to become your MLA. You, the tax-paying citizen, deserve to have a government that is managed and operated according to what is in your best interest. I believe in the principles of the Wildrose and I am committed to doing the right thing for you and your family.
