Why I'm running
I’m running for re-election as MLA for Calgary Hays because I want my grandchildren to enjoy the same opportunities that I have had since coming to Alberta in 1981.
I pride myself in providing a common sense, practical and experienced voice for all Albertans. I want to support Premier Prentice in setting Alberta’s fiscal path in the right direction. I believe we can balance the need for infrastructure, social supports, health care and education with Albertans’ ability to pay for these things. However, we must also remember that over four million Albertans depend on us every day to make the right choices by listening to their needs and aspirations. Calgary Hays has specific issues that that I am determined to address, including transportation needs and ensuring that schools are built and staffed. I am proud to be a servant of the good people of Calgary Hays.
