Brandon grew up a proud Albertan in the small rural town of Forestburg. After completing his Political Science degree from the University of Alberta, Brandon joined the Alberta Public Service where he spent several years working to make Alberta better for all citizens.
During his time as a civil servant, Brandon continually noticed that despite working alongside smart, dedicated and caring co-workers, they were often limited and stifled by a top-down and inefficient bureaucratic system.
Brandon is running for the Wildrose to help change that system, by protecting and giving voice to front-line workers while opposing and reshaping a tired, ineffective bureaucracy.
A lifetime believer in fiscal responsibility, smaller government and conservative principles, Brandon can often be overheard reminding people that it is “your money” not the “government’s money” this respect for the tax-payer dollar is a core principal of why Brandon believes in the Wildrose.
In his personal life, Brandon participates actively in a number of recreational sports, and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. Brandon and his wife Erin live in the southeast community of Cranston in Calgary and are proud and active community members.
