Born and raised in Calgary Heritage, Dr. Brendan Miles returned to Alberta, and to the riding of Calgary Heritage, in 2010 to complete a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. Supported by his wife, he now proudly serves the riding he and his family call home as a family physician focused on patient-centered care.
As a physician, Brendan cares deeply about the health of his community and believes it is time the residents of Calgary Heritage had a Member of Parliament who will serve each of them with humility, dignity and respect. He brings his patient-care approach to politics, and looks forward to involving constituents in the political process in order to make the best decisions possible.
Brendan believes strongly in the development of evidence-based policy. He earned his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Public Administration degrees from Queen’s University, where he also received the degree of Doctor of Medicine. He is fluent in both of Canada’s official languages, is an accomplished triathlete, and enjoys cycling and hiking with his wife and family.
