As a long time NDP member and active community participant, Dany is ready to become the first MP for Calgary Shepard.

Dany is an information technology professional who has worked at various oil and gas companies in Calgary. He is a highly knowledgeable team leader with project management and consultation experience in Calgary’s key industry.

In addition to his work in IT, Dany is a long time member and volunteer with the NDP, currently as the Treasurer for the Calgary Centre EDA. He worked on on several previous campaigns, including the recent energetic provincial by-elections. Dany is also an active volunteer in his community and the city. He has contributed his time and skills to organizations such as Take Back the Night, the Calgary Folk Club, Brown Bagging for Kids, and Woodbine Elementary School.

Dany lives in South Calgary with his wife, a local musician, and their 9-year-old daughter. He believes that Canadians deserve better than the Conservatives’ mismanagement and scandals and is proud to be part of the NDP. As the official opposition, Dany knows the NDP is the party best positioned to defeat Stephen Harper in 2015.
